What’s Our Style?
Organic, Emotive, Timeless
Working in Nature is where we feel at home. We use scenic NZ backdrops to pose you contrasting against it in organic whites. Natural laws of ‘duality’ is a theme we love to work with.
Beyond this emotion, and natural movement shape our imagery creating timeless artwork over generations. Natural light is most important; and we work with it to recreate a film-like photography feel with isolated subjects.
Effortless yet beautiful posing is how we achieve the best results. You will be tenderly guided into your natural positions for an unposed, candid result. We will keep our eye on you to see how you naturally move and interact to capture the most authentically ‘you’ moments.
In post production we hand craft every image individually rather than a common technique of 'bulk editing'. So you know each image is presented in the finest and truest quality. With every x 50 images edited, two painstakingly detailed hours will have gone into it.
We offer collection instalment plans to ensure affordability for all.
Lily&Rose is dedicated to, and inspired by Georgia’s beautiful daughter ‘Lilly Rose’. We branded ourselves with Lily&Rose flowers on behalf her.
I am a naturalist. A love for nature, natural light and living things attracted me to documenting my passion, especially raw human emotion, through the medium of Photography.
Capturing inspired moments- beauty the eye perceives in all of our happinesses; celebrations, love, and perceptions of a time - to turn them into something tangible for future generations. The resulting, re-stimulating of emotion is my privilege.
Ultimately, I want to create the image to its truest form. I handcraft each image to their best potential in a timeless, romantic, fine art style. I work with film Imagery for the unreplicable true colour and skin tones.
Film video highlights are included in selected collections so your most adored moments can be relieved to their best potential.
I use natural landscapes of New Zealand to add depth, colour and emotion to my images ensuring isolation, old-worldliness complexity and feeling in portraiture.
Since 2007 I have refined skills in Photoshop and adobe suite applications for perfecting retouching. I received the Gawn Cup in 2008, 1st in Visual Art-Design, and studied Design papers at Otago University achieving highly in these.
I work in devotion to my secondary school art and design teacher, Hunia Dean, a creative genius who first inspired my passion and passed away recently.
